How did I make my kites?
 I started of by building my bamboo stick, then I put my cover over my bamboo stick.
 Next  I taped my cover so it can stick to my bamboo sticks.
 When I was done I decorated my kite with stars, feathers, wool and last but not least my tail witch was made of string.

Room 12's Volcano

This is the model volcano. It doesn't look like a volcano but it certainly erupted like one.
We inserted a bottle on the inside. In it was a mixture of water,vinegar,dishwashing liquid and food colouring. As soon as we added the baking soda, we were excited to see the eruption.

Red Lion New Game

Junior and I were walking around the jungle and we saw Red Lion coming to play with us. We played who could get meat. He would get pig for dinner  because it's his favorite. After that we played fetch. We would use the bones of the pig and we threw it as far as we could and then he went and got it and came back.  We let him rest for a while and we went back to play. I got a pistol out of my pocket and I shot it and Red Lion ran and hit it down. I said to him you like that cool game  right and he went "rrrroooo!"at me. I think that was a yes. I was proud of Red lion but we were all tired. Red lion was happy as a chirping bird.

All Black Seven

Congratulation on your awesome game and you are so lucky that you won the rugby sevens world cup. You did a really good job on your game. We are super proud that you won. It was a huge success from you all. Even the silver ferns did extremely well. And I hope you all will have a extremely amazing day.

Red Christmas

Red Christmas liked to play some new games like, sticks, jumping over the hula hoops, frisby and ball tag. But when Christmas was playing ball tag, some little kids were just next to Rebeca and they were shouting for help because their boat was stuck on the rocks so then Christmas came for help. So after Christmas played his games he had a treat for helping those little kids and he was so happy when he got it.

I liked the way Christmas acts and I was so happy that he played a fair game.

Carrots

CARROTS

Carrots are great to crunch on as a snack.

Awesome as it cleans the plaque from my teeth as I chew on it.

Rotten potatoes as they crunch to the rescue .

Rabbits love them too.

Oranges are juicy but carrots are not.

Try them grated in a sandwich and it's awesome.

Stew isn't great without carrots.

9	Worms make a lot of compost. So that we can grow lots of plants and eat healthy.
10	Worms have no eyes,legs or arms ears. A worm has a small brain.worm never sleep.

Composting and worm farming

This term my group of four made this project about worms.  Our inquiry investigation question was
how long would it take worms and earthworms to eat a whole three apples decayed.

First, we used the internet to research our topic so we can get our question right.  
Then we constructed
this project by working together as a team. I did the planing to make our project simple and easy.
 We used paint , tape , gun stapler and a box. What was easy was painting the box and the pieces with it. What was difficult was the pronunciation because we didn't know how long it would take for the worms and earthworms to eat the three apples. How did this help your learning it helped us by learning how long it took for the worms to eat when we researched. It takes up to one hour for seventeen worms to eat two apples.
I would like to see how long it takes to compost in summer and winter so you can plant.

My Holiday

This Holiday was so exciting with my family  because we went to masny places that was fun.


In the Holidays the First thing we did was watched Jurassic World at Sylvia Park with my family because it was the Holidays. A week later we decided to go to Rainbow's End with my family. When we got there it felt boring until;l we went on the rides li the bumper boats,fear fall,roller coaster,The log flume,bumper karts and many more.After that went to westfield mall to eat burger king for lunch. The next day my mum's mum rang and said if we wanted to go to fortuna and my mom said yes. Next it time to go school and I felt sad because it was not as exciting as hanging out with my family in the Holidays.

I felt happy in the holidays and I hope I have the same next time.

Flying high for Matariki

I made my kite by making the frame with bamboo sticks and wrapping it with a black plastic bag. Then I decorated it with a big sticker and other small ones. The final step was I had to make a tail with some more plastic bags and I put some string.

 I made my kite because each class had to make something for our schools celebration for Matariki.

Maori people fly kites during Matariki to join the heaven and Earth together.`

Water pallution

 Should single use plastics be banned? yes because people are not careing  about their  comunicacion with animals that lives out in the sea.

 should a plastic bag be banned ? yes because it cause all kind of sickness to animals under water and it is pallutioning  them      

Is plastic harmful to animals ? ofcories one reason why it´s bad because animals love eating and they mite eat plastic bag or turdalies can get tide up in a plastic bags

Plastic is bad

I think plastic should be band because lots of sea creature die from eating it. But if you do not want plastic to be band then don't letter at anywhere.
They should make a bag with clothes or something that's not plastic. Plastic is harmful for some sea creatures some are about to extinct.

Africa vs new zealand game

Congratulations South Africa for winning against New Zealand 36:34. You both did good and we enjoyed watching the rugby game and it was so mysterious who was gonna win and exciting at the same time and I really loved it and it's ok if New Zealand loses because   they can come back another time and be 5 times better then before.

Rona was a lazy wife she would tell her husband to go get a big fish so ronas husband said centenly dear. Rona went to sleep and when she woke up her guard was empty there was no water left for her to drink. So rona went to get her water herself Te marama the moon was leading her to the creek but then Te marama went behind a black   cloud.Rona heart herself very badly so rona said to te marama you carbge head and te marama said are you speaking to me rona said yes I am Talking to you. So Te Marama grabbed her and took her away up into the sky people say you can see her on Te marama's face.

How worms eat

        First the worm pushes it’s throat to grab its food and it makes the food soft with saliva.

Next the food goes down the oesophagus and then it goes into the crop.

Then the food gets soft then it goes to the gizzard and gets crunched into little bits by stones.

Finally the food goes into the intestine and some  gets turned into energy and the rest into worm casting or tea.    

 

 

                                                                 

How to compost using Bokashi

How to compost using Bokashi

                   What You Need

• Two buckets One with holes and one without holes
• Secondly you need your bokashi mixture.
• Then you need your fruit scraps

First you need to put your bucket with holes in the other bucker then you will need to put in fruit scrapes and then put in the bokashi mixture and then close it and leave it for two weeks .

After two weeks you take your waste and dig it under the dirt and leave it their.

How to compost using compost

What you will need

• 2 buckets, one with holes for drainage.
• Food scrapes
• Bokashi mix
• Lid to seal the bucket

                                     Method  

First you will need to put the food scraps into your first bin which
will has holes.Next  place that bucket into a second bucket to
collect the juice. Leave in the bucket for 2 week .

ou will put the next bin in which will have holes so your fruit
scraps can make a kind of juice called

Fluid juice which will be perfect for your garden
so your veggies and fruit can grow nice rich and fresh.
